Following the success of the debut collection, London-based contemporary womenswear label Kalayci London introduce a second range of bold and innovative designs for the Heritage Coast collection.
Inspired by the modern, style-conscious woman, Kalayci London continues to explore and celebrate the power of femininity, further honing a signature aesthetic that combines form-flattering feminine silhouettes with premium fabrics, luxurious embellishments and original finishes.
Heritage Coast sees Kalayci London develop its distinctive handwriting, introducing covetable new shapes in a contemporary seasonal colour palette of crisp white and fiery red; paired with timeless navy, nudes and black onyx. Sumptuous fabrics connote the brands dedication to elegance and accessible luxury, combining a fusion of textured fabrics with elegant satin and fitted faux leather and suede.
Split into four trend stories; Ocean Highlight, Lacing, Fight Club and All That Shines; Kalayci London demonstrates expert craftsmanship via intricate hand-sewn embellishments and a seductive use of trims and finishes that have fast become synonymous with the brand. Corset inspired hook-and-eye fastenings and the brand’s signature exposed zips add a modern twist to body-contouring dresses, whilst lattice straps add feature detailing to chic shifts.
Hero pieces include the sophisticated red midi with exposed zip and lace up side-panels; the floor length halter gown with gold textured overlay; and the black cocktail dress with hand-sewn beading. The collection see’s the introduction of bodies for the first time, combining sheer mesh with bustier detailing for a sensual streamlined silhouette. Each piece is crafted with the sophisticated Kalayci London woman in mind; the result is a collection of statement dresses, directional tailoring and unique separates that are designed to captivate and empower.
